Issue 17: If it’s good enough for Al Capone, it’s good enough for us.

Issue 17: If it’s good enough for Al Capone, it’s good enough for us.

We’re talking about Kentucky. The home to Al Capone’s favourite moonshine and the setting for this weekends USPGA Championship at Valhalla GC.
As is the way of the modern game the course has been beefed up into a total brute. With new thicker, tougher grass, another 150 yards added to the back sticks and some of the smallest greens on tour it’ll be a real test.
But here at Big Draw we’re not just here for the golf, as always we’re here for the culture that surrounds the tournament too.
This weekend we’re dropping 4 new shirt designs inspired by the culture of the wonderful State of Kentucky and here’s a sneak peek. As a subscriber you get first access to the shirts before they officially go on sale.

We’ve been inspired by things as diverse as the famous fried chicken to the Kentucky Derby to the delicious coincidence of the name of the hall of fallen heroes in Norse mythology (read: Thor).

We’ll be claiming our spot in front of the telly from Thursday evening so if you have any questions about the new drop, that’s where you’ll find us.

And finally here’s this weeks play off holes
