I’ve been playing golf for as long as I could pick up a club and whilst a lot has changed , many things haven’t.
Handicaps go up and down, putts drop and lip out and that fade (slice) is always haunting my driver.
But until recently one of the things that hasn’t changed is the dress code. Still in 2024 some of the best courses in the world are hamstrung by archaic dress codes stipulating that “collars”, “long socks” and “shorts just above the knee cap”.
What a crock of outdated shit.
We wanted to offer golfers like ourselves, who weren’t born in the formal straight-jacket of post-war Britain, something different, something relevant, something for the world today rather than yesterday.
So we’re going to make stuff for you, the people who love golf and who want options that aren’t conforming to a bygone age.
We’ve started with the Fife, a boxy, heavyweight polo that looks as good on the course as it does in the park, and we’ve got a stack of new stuff dropping soon so keep your eyes on our socials.
But we’ve also designed a collection inspired by the Masters, riffing on famous parts of the course and experience to create designs we love
Golf isn’t exclusive, it’s a good walk sometimes spoiled, and it should be accessible to everyone, so let’s stop celebrating people on the course looking like they’re going to a meeting and start dressing for the modern world.
